Part One kicks off on September 18th with a powerhouse lineup that bridges mesmerizing instrumental musicianship, heavy alternative grooves, and some of Mississauga and the GTA's finest home-grown modern rockers. Whether you are a fan of soaring guitar riffs, punishing drum beats, or dark, industrial soundscapes, this is the hard rock event of the season.

The Lineup

Headliner: A Primitive Evolution (A.P.E.)

Born out of Toronto’s alternative underground, A Primitive Evolution creates a visceral, evolving soundtrack of dark electronic metal and grunge-infused alternative rock. Winner of "Best Rock Band" at the Toronto Independent Music Awards, their sound pulls inspiration from heavyweights like Nine Inch Nails, Tool, and Alice in Chains. Recorded out of their own Desolation Studios and partnering with Metropolis Records, A.P.E. delivers a raw, hypnotic live performance that is best consumed at extremely loud volumes. Prepare yourself for a staggering, rhythm-driven attack of industrial-tinged rock.

Main Opener: Sticks N' Stones

Mississauga’s very own Sticks N' Stones are taking the stage to show exactly why they earned the Mississauga Music Award for Best Live Band. Driven by the fierce creative chemistry of brothers Nick and Robert Lisanti, their sound perfectly bridges the emotional intensity of early 2000s active rock with the massive, roaring hooks of classic metal. Blasting heavy riffs, honest songwriting, and high-octane stadium energy, they are ready to bring down the house on their home turf.

Opening Act: Tom Frelek

Setting the tone for the evening is Mississauga's own guitar virtuoso, Tom Frelek. A finalist for the Mississauga Arts Awards (The MARTYS) in the Established Instrumental Music category, Frelek is a phenomenal talent who takes guitar craftsmanship to its absolute limit. For this special showcase, he will be delivering an elite instrumental set featuring music from his stunning latest album release, Rewrite Tomorrow. Seamlessly blending masterclass technical precision with high-octane, blistering fretwork and deep emotional resonance, his performance is a must-see for anyone who appreciates pure guitar mastery.
